Praise Songs                                                                                                                                                         Leaning on the Everlasting Arms

Call to Worship and Confession

L: I ask God from the wealth of his glory to give you power through his Spirit to be strong in your inner selves, and I pray that Christ will make his home in your hearts through faith. I pray that you may have your roots and foundation in love, so that you, together with all God's people, may have the power to understand how broad and long, how high and deep, is Christ's love. Yes, may you come to know his love - although it can never be fully known - and so be completely filled with the very nature of God.

                                                                                                                                                                                                         Ephesians 3:16-19

L: Holy and Gracious God.

C: I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what I have done and by what I have left undone. I have not loved you with my whole heart, and mind, and strength. I have not loved my neighbor as myself. I have not forgiven others as I have been forgiven. In the name of Jesus Christ I ask forgiveness.

Silent Confession                                                                                                                                               Where true charity and love abide

God is dwelling there, God is dwelling there

P: It is through faith that all of you are God's children in union with Christ Jesus. You were baptized into union with Christ, and now you are clothed, so to speak, with the life of Christ himself. So there is no difference between Jews and Gentiles, between slaves and free people, between men and women; you are all one in union with Christ Jesus.
